This spacious venue is a popular cafe and artisan chocolate factory by the day, and transforms into a unique event space at night.East Elevation showcases high cathedral ceilings, exposed brick walls, wooden beams, supreme decor, and has a versatile floorplan that awaits your creativity. This beautiful venue offers an exceptional space to accommodate your wedding celebration. Whether your dream event is an intimate gathering, or more opulent day, East Elevation has flexible options that can be tailored to your needs.The capacity is up to 130 cocktail style and 90 seated. We host 5 hour events starting from 6pm, an additional half hour is added if you decide to have a ceremony with us.

Reception and Ceremony Designed to Your Vision

Our venue is idyllic for both ceremony and reception, and the space truly lends itself to limitless styling opportunities. East Elevation ceremonies are rustic and intimate. Included in your ceremony fee is the use of a platform and wooden wedding arch, which you may choose to beautifully dress with floral designs.

Catering

East Elevation has crafted a selection of individual dishes that will leave your guests raving about your wedding food. These menus form an ideal place upon which to build a personalised wedding menu that reflects your taste, style and dietary requirements. Whether it is a cocktail canapé reception or a formal sit-down meal we create a memorbale feasting experience. We’re a community minded neighbourhood business with a focus on seasonal local produce and sustainability.

We understand that everyone’s catering needs are independent and wedding visions are unique, this is why our catering is styled to suit you. Be it snacking on delicious tapas from a rustic grazing table, tasting gourmet canapes while mingling with guests, sitting down to a three course banquet or slipping on some fruity cocktails while indulging in handmade cakes on a personally designed dessert table, we make it happen.

Event Process

Once you’ve reached out to us, we welcome you to the family, ensuring you that we will prioritise your needs throughout the entire process.

You can have the amount of consultations that suit your needs, these appointments are done in the cafe during weekdays from 8am-8pm.

Between consultations we will liaise about all things wedding, suppliers, schedules, decorations, table pans, styling & pricing. At any point you can reach out to one of our event managers who will promptly respond to you.

You’ll have the option to attend a wedding tasting evening, held every second month. Where you share an intimate dinner in the venue. Indulging in a wine tasting and personalised selection of food choices.

A few months out, together we decide upon final food menus, beverage selections, floor plans, scheduling as well as bump in and outs.

On the day, one of our event managers will support you every step of the way, making sure every detail is meticulously cared for.

We just recently had our engagement party at East Elevation and couldn’t be any happier with our night or the team! Our families loved the venue and the food (we had a grazing table, a selection of roaming canapes and then pizzas before finishing with the amazing dessert table). Jen at East Elevation assisted us from our first enquiry to on the night with any little thing that needed her attention. She was more than willing to assist throughout the organising, bringing in beers that my family liked, putting in requests for the florist to use the colours I liked and then on the night when she ensured every aspect ran smoothly. Jen was fantastic and I can’t recommend her friendly and attentive service enough. Over a week later people who attended the event (and those who didn’t but have seen photos) have still commented on what a pretty venue the café is and what a great night it was!
