Coragulac House is a magnificent 30 room Scottish Baronial style blue stone mansion located in Coragulac Victoria. Set on 140 acres of prime farming land with stunning views of the Otway ranges. This beautiful homestead is set at the foot of Red Rock scenic lookout offering breathtaking views.

Unique Australian History Opens its Doors

Coragulac House is a unique piece of Australian history to hold your dream wedding. This property oozes romance and arches of life with classic tones and textures in the design. Built in 1873 by the pioneering Pastoralists “Robertson family”, the Homestead has been privately owned throughout its history. The estate is by appointment and for the first time the current owners have opened the homestead to share its history. Homestead guests are immersed in the majestic architecture of the Entrance Hall, with six metre vaulted cedar panelled ceiling and original embossed wallpapers, featuring the Robertson’s family crest “Riding to Hounds”. An Art Nouveau chandelier makes a stunning centrepiece, and the oversized English oak mantelpiece incorporating a beaten copper insignia of duelling dragons authenticates the grandeur of the Entrance Hall.

There is everything you could desire at this estate with exquisite charm of a bygone era. Photographers have the perfect backdrop at the estate that is rarely available, with lavish indoor and outdoor settings. Photographers create perfect  timeless memorable images. Guests will be in awe as they await your arrival on the expansive lawns and lavish gardens with views of the elevated wrap around veranda framed perfectly with stunning roses.

An Unforgettable Experience for your Special Day

The reception at the original Coach House and Stables is located behind the Homestead, with rustic vaulted ceilings, cobblestone flooring and brick with white washed walls offering a historic ambience. The stables has capacity of 130 people seated or 250 cocktail style. Guests will love the solid polished timber trestle tables with fine fabric upholstered chairs. A rustic chandelier is suspended from the ceiling and there are over one hundred classic festoon lights decorating the ceiling.

Be Immersed with Tailor-made Events

This wedding venue allows the flexibility for your guests to enjoy the options of 3rd party catering that you provide only limited by your imagination. Whether your heart desires a formal seated  dinner, smorgasbord, grazing menu, spit roasts, an elegant cocktail party, or BBQ, you can customise perfectly to reflect the unique atmosphere for your special day.

Monash Cottage has accommodation for up to five people for use over two nights. Built by Monash University now offers a unique accommodation experience.

The facilities included are overnight accommodation in your own private cottage including 1 queen bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, separate shower and wash room, living area with sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen and dining room.

There are also other accommodation options available at the Homestead for an additional fee.
